Their business focuses on the global distribution experience of its parent company and excels at strategic supply chain design & analysis. Their organization uses state-of-the-art network modelling tools, inventory & transportation simulation methods, provide end-to-end solutions and house a detailed facility.  

Their supply chain is their core business and when their warehouse encountered uneven flooring issues, they faced many problems. As they faced time and storage constraints and a temporary closure of this facility was not an option and hence only the URETEK® Method could solve their issues.

Throughout this injection lifting process, their inventory management system was not restricted in their day to day functions and operations.

URETEK® was called upon to provide slab re-levelling in the storage area of the warehouse to bring their supply chain back to speed. The total affected area was 1276m2 (13734ft2) and the total job took 30 working days due to the tight working spaces, sheer size of the lift and the heavy machinery stored at the lifting site.

Private condominium, Ipoh Lane, Singapore

During the construction phase of a condominium, some private residential bungalows at Thiam Siew Avenue encountered cracks on walls, ceilings, walkway and driveways on the premises during the process of foundation and pilling work.

The cracks were caused by the movement of the column footings due to soil movement caused by the neighbouring foundation work, resulting in the loss of load bearing capacity of the soil.

Uretek® applied deep injection method to create a resin barrier next to the sheet-pile so as to stop the soil movement and prevent the continuing movement of the footing foundation at the neighbouring houses.

The Pinnacle @ Duxton Complex

The Pinnacle @ Duxton is an iconic housing project in Singapore's public housing history, with many unique features that set it apart from other public housing projects. It is the first 50-storey public housing project in Singapore, housing 1,848 apartments in 7 towering blocks.

It is also the first in the world with 2 unique sky bridges linking the 7 blocks at the 26th and 50th storey. The sky bridges create possibly the longest continuous sky gardens in the world, offering panoramic views of the city skyline.

Sofotec was called upon to monitor the structural safety of the unique sky bridges and to monitor precisely the way the bending and shear strains are calculated based on the sensors configuration for each link bridge. A total of 32 SOFO long-gauge Sensors were installed and the concentrates on the continuous, quasi-static long term monitoring at a global structural level. Also, each residential building was installed with 8 sensors into the vertical members of the structure, to monitor the strain of the each of the selected member.

Eco-Green Building, Sungei Kadut, Singapore

This building is the first of its kind in the region to be constructed using concrete with up to 100% Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA). This structure attained the highest level from the Building & Construction Authority Singapore, Green Mark certification – the Green Mark Platinum Award 2010 for its Eco-Green Building at the BCA Awards 2010.

Sofotec recommended and installed a Complete Centralized Monitoring of this 3-storey building with a total of 24 SOFO® Sensors that provides periodical, continuous, periodically continuous, quasi-static monitoring.
